 Aug 18th Friday - Night Ride​​

Experience the Grand River and the shores of Lake Erie like you've never experienced before.  On a bike in the dark! 
You must have your own bicycle, helmet, headlight ( min. 300 lumens) and tailight .
The ride will have a support vehicle traveling behind the riders to ensure safety.
The support vehicle will have water and snack bars. 
​Participants will be riding in groups with one assigned guide.

This ride will take you through Port Maitland and offers a beautiful view of the Port Maitland pier from the lakeshore.
 
Skill Level -novice to intermediate riders; somewhat comfortable riding with vehicular traffic on city and country roads; able to ride at 12 to 15 km per hour for 25 km and be able to ride in groups with many other riders.

This route is perfect for a an intermediate rider or beginner who wants to challenge him or herself . The tour takes riders along the shores of Lake Erie and to the historical town of Selkirk. This is a very flat ride with minimal elevation changes.
 
Skill Level - experienced riders; comfortable riding with vehicular traffic on city and country roads; able to ride up several long hills; able to ride at 15 - 20 km per hour for 60 or 72 km and be able to ride in groups with many other riders.

After visiting the small town of Selkirk, you will ride along the scenic Grand River and quiet back roads.
